General Information

This is a hardware ADSL solution, and therefore independant of the OS to which it is connected. It’s heart is a P52 ADSL controller which contains an integrated IEEE 802.3-compliant LAN/WAN interface. Either PCI or USB interfaces are also integrated. Both LAN/WAN and PCI/USB can be used simultaneously. The controller has embedded firmware for all necessary software, including an integrated Web server for user management.

The CX11627 DMT (discrete multitone) datapump connects with a DSLAM at the Teleco provider & is compliant with T1.413 Issue 2, G.992.1 (G.dmt) and G.992.2 (G.lite) ADSL. The first requires a splitter to be installed by the Service Provider at the CPE (Customer Premises) whilst the last two do not require any changes at the subscriber location, G.dmt using microfilters for each POTS telephone. This datapump handles a max 8/1 Mbps down-/up-stream. G.lite is limited to 1.5 Mbps downstream but does not require the microfilters.

Bridge, Router & various Combo- options with V.92, HomePNA & LAN are offered.
