Manuals: Intel Product Brief
A v.34 "hard" modem (all modem functions in silicon) which comes in External, ISA PnP & PCMCIA versions with speakerphone options.

Cirrus Logic produced the original chipset. Cirrus then spun all its modem chipsets off as an independant company called Ambient Technologies. Ambient became part of Intel, and Intel now no longer uses the Ambient name (are you following this?) Intel discontinued the chipset, but continue to support all the former Cirrus Logic/Ambient modem chipsets.
