| Notes: modem + answering machine. See chipset link for driver info/ISP Performance/more drivers. This is (was) one of the very few modems which enables UK Caller ID. Please note that the modem needs to be flashed with Pace Firmware. 22 Dec 99 Thanks to Doug Coldwell for reporting that this modem is a re-badged Kortex Kaptix 56000. |

07 Apr 02 Thanks to Mike McMullan for reporting that he got his ISA internal working under Windows XP with the drivers INF file. Although not XP-certified, they worked fine & also enabled UK Caller ID. Please note: the Pace driver-numbering bears only a passing resemblance to the "standard" numbering sequence used by other manufacturers. The chipset comes in a 1 or 2 MB ROM, with internal and external versions, and voice options. BEWARE! as the correct version & type of flash is required or the modem will be dead, permanently [see Media Force]. Ignore the Pace upgrade wizard with Freeserve - FS has never had K56FlexTM racks & the wizard is wrong - just upgrade. |

| 9 Nov 00 Thanks to Saul Biber for reporting page changes (from "pacecom.co.uk" to "infoserve.com"). Saul tried to subscribe to use the Online service (Home page) without any response but in fact, in my experience, files can be freely downloaded.
