| A flash-upgradeable 2 MB ROM 56K chipset that simultaneously supports both V.90 and K56FlexTM. Voice [speakerphone] capable [depends on OEM implementation]. Desktop & internal versions available. Some models show the ati6 response in ati7 instead.
Caution! Make sure that the flash upgrade is for the correct model. See Media Force for a cautionary tale. The better flashes check for the correct chipset before going ahead, & this chipset has many variants. |
