known conflicts: 10 Jul 02 5.97 Thanks to Total Recycling for reporting that, by experiment, this driver does not work with the current Mars3 (1648C) chipset. By contrast, the 8.22 driver is backwards compatible to the MarsII (1646T) chipset.
5.87 Win95 setup problems which also prevent reinstallation of previous drivers.
30 Mar 00 5.75 No V.90 connection with ISP's using CISCO Mica servers running beta 2.7..1.x firmware.
25 Jul 99 The 5.32 drivers from this site gave a faster, stable service with Freeserve whereas the 5.53 drivers gave very regular line drops & poor connection speeds.
01 Nov 98 A user obtained a reliable V.90 connection with Freeserve with "ats109=2" [no quotes] entered in Extra Settings.

A controllerless Linux- & Windows-only Dual-Mode chipset that supports both V.90 and K56FlexTM. The original Windows modem driver-name was "LT Win Modem" & by v5.44 had become "Lucent Win Modem" - the modem in Dial-Up Networking Properties (General page) will need changing if an upgrade causes a name change. Drivers seem to be interchangeable between suppliers [use at own risk].

02 Feb 01 Thanks to Kit Peters for reporting new drivers.
