Realised that I needed a column within /mfc/ to flag a company that is now deceased:
ALTER TABLE /mfc/ ADD dead TINYINT AFTER UsesID;The manual (7.8) states that a temporary copy of the original table is made & changes made to this, then the original deleted & the copy renamed. The added column is filled with the default value (NULL here). |
