| Notes: Another user found the BABT holder to be Genesis Equipment Technology & upgraded at the Modular Technology site. Sold in Dixons stores. 17 Mar 99 Thanks to Geoff Coope for reporting that the Mod Tech 1.47 flash update failed on the second file at 100% with a '-999' error, leaving him with a dead modem. Geoff considers that the early version [over 1 year] of his pre-flash firmware may be a factor in this. The chipset comes in a 1 or 2 MB ROM, with internal and external versions, and voice options. BEWARE! as the correct version & type of flash is required. Check first whether this is an Askey modem. |
